Hydraulic faults are rarely where the symptom is. Pressure loss at the cylinder can be a pump, a valve, a blocked filter or contaminated oil, and replacing the cylinder fixes none of those.
We diagnose the circuit before we quote the part. Repairs cover power units, cylinders, pumps, motors, hoses and fittings, and everything is pressure and flow tested before it goes back into service.
Where the system is ageing rather than broken, we retrofit it — modern controls and filtration on sound mechanical hardware is usually a fraction of the cost of replacement.
